shattered

I began this series of paintings after going through the profound loss of my grandmother, who was an artist herself. The fragmented or ‘shattered’ pieces in my work represented the emotional turmoil and grief I was experiencing during that difficult time. To this day, I still find joy in creating these paintings, as they are a fun, contemporary twist on classic paintings.
